Fantasy Football Players With Awesome Playoff and Championship Schedules

If you’re an advanced fantasy football player, you know how vital it is to plan ahead.  In fantasy football, you can play shortsighted for a little while, but ultimately you’ll get burned.  You need to remember that you’re playing for the playoffs – weeks 14-16 and possibly 13 or 17 – so you want to have a loaded starting lineup when your scheduled fantasy playoffs start.

Here are some players that have great matchups:

Kyle Orton

Brandon Lloyd

Brandon Marshall

Peyton Manning

Ronnie Brown + Ricky Williams

Ryan Matthews

Felix Jones

Reggie Wayne

Austin Collie

Miles Austin

This is not to say other players don’t have favorable match-ups but the above players are all pretty stout in week 15-16.  This is no way a completely dispositive thing, but it is definitely something you want to think about when making trades or not making trades in the near future.

Highly favorable schedules greatly slant the odds in your favor but never forget superstar power and how that also slants odds in your future.  Other considerations for the fantasy football playoffs are what the team is fighting for or not fighting for (are they resting their starters?), backups and injuries, team defensive improvement, departures (trades) or injuries to the offensive line or other star players.
